This weekend was a little light on the action for the TOXC alumni crew. The Vanguard Invitational in Costa Mesa saw DJ Smithers ('10) from Chapman in action, completing the 8K course in 30:29 for 99th place.  Also at Vanguard, there was a surprise appearance by Sammy Goldenberg ('07), who runs for the USC club team "Men of Troy".  Sammy completed the 8k course in 32:54. The posted college schedules continued to be unpredictable as neither Andrew Snyder nor Andrew Garai ended up running this weekend as expected.

Next weekend will be busy with several alumni in college action.  Kevin Joerger ('10) of Loyola Marymount and Allie Lopez ('09) of UCLA will travel to the NCAA Pre-Nationals meeting in Terre Haute Indiana for the biggest college invitational in the country.  Also on the schedule, Sean Gildea ('09) and his Colorado School of Mines team will be traveling to the Tiger Open in Kansas, while Evan Hillman ('09) and the Occidental squad will stay in Southern California for the SCIAC multi-Dual Meet in La Mirada.  Finally, Andrew Snyder ('09) and the UCI team will be traveling to the Central Coast for the Cal Poly Invitational.
