Today was the UC Irvine Invitational in which Andrew Snyder ('09) of UC Irvine and Evan Hillman ('09) of Occidential had their first races of the season.  Andrew placed 52nd in the 238 man field running 26:32 for the 8k distance and placing 9th for his deep UCI team.  Evan came in 184th in 29:28, making him the 7th man on the Occidential squad (Full Results).

Next Saturday, September 18th, D.J Smithers ('10) of Chapman University and Kevin Joerger ('10) of Loyola Marymount University will have their college debut races at the UC Riverside Invitational.  At the same time, Sean Gildea ('09) of the NCAA DII Powerhouse Colorado School of Mines team will celebrate his birthday at the Colorado College Invitational in Colorado Springs.  Finally, the Aztec Invitational in San Diego will be hosting UCLA (Allie Lopez '09), UCSD (Nina Su '07) and Occidental (Evan Hillman '09).  Check back next week for all the results.
