TOXC Alumni Tracker - 2010 Wk 5

Saturday the 25th saw three recent TOXC Alumni competing with some of the best college teams in the country at the Stanford Invitational.
Allie Lopez ('09) competed in the women's 6k race for UCLA, running a 23:34 and placing 119th in the 212 runner field. Allie was the 6th Bruin across the line as UCLA placed 5th among 24 teams competing.
In the men's race, Kevin Joerger ('10) completed the 8k course in 26:06 placing 139th for LMU (LMU's 5th man), while Andrew Snyder ('09) was right on Kevin's heels for UC Irvine recording a 26:12 in 144th place. Andrew has worked his way up to the 7th man for UC Irvine, which is no small feat on their incredibly deep roster. UC Irvine men finished the day in 12th place while the LMU men were 14th in the 26 team field.
Next weekend there are (or may be) many alumni in college action: - Louisville Classic - Sean Gildea (Colorado School of Mines) - Pomona-Pitzer Invitational - DJ Smithers (Chapman), Evan Hillman (Occidental) and Andrew Snyder (UC Irvine)
